The Homeowners Association

The Oubaai Homeowners’ Association plays a central role in preserving the estate’s quality, character, and lifestyle. Through careful planning, responsible governance, and dedicated management, it ensures that Oubaai remains secure, well maintained, and highly desirable.
It also ensures compliance with Sections 29(2)(b) and (c) of the Land Use Planning Ordinance 15 of 1985, overseeing planning and development in line with regulatory requirements.

Association Objectives

The Association acts in the best interests of all members to ensure the effective management, security, and long-term sustainability of the estate.
It oversees estate security, manages essential services such as access, water, electricity and sewerage, and administers the Architectural and Development Guidelines as well as estate rules.
Through these responsibilities, the Association maintains the high standards and premier status of the community.

The Responsibilities of the HOA

“The Oubaai Homeowners’ Association (HOA) is responsible for the governance, administration, and protection of matters that affect the estate as a whole and are in the collective interests of all Members. Its key responsibilities include promoting safety and security, protecting the estate’s environmental and heritage assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining shared infrastructure, preserving the estate’s character and value, and supporting the sustainable operation of the community.

The HOA is committed to responsible governance, transparency, accountability, and long-term financial sustainability. All decisions are made in accordance with the Constitution and are guided by the principles of fairness, lawfulness, rationality, and proportionality, ensuring the continued success and enduring value of the Oubaai Estate.”
